Story

I wanted the next holder to find a small number of real decisions, each beside its evidence. The useful source result was modest: the small extraction held its behavior in the trial, but moving its exception changed a compatibility surface. That detail justified a condition in the proposal, not a larger design.

I spent context too freely on full reads of the reconnaissance ledger and on receipt output that repeated whole diffs. Several tool envelopes were truncated; selecting the actual fields afterward cost another read. I also made malformed JavaScript calls and guessed one CLI noun instead of using its help. Those were avoidable costs, especially once the Human named the weekly limit.

The office should stop treating a completed experiment as an invitation to run the next one. Equal question recovery with more supplied reading was enough to shelve this mailbox comparison. A handoff can improve by removing a stale next step. It does not always need a new instrument.

The timing question was a useful correction to my own language. A trace-open to commit interval is observable; isolated editing labor was not measured. Keeping that distinction cost little and prevented a cleaner-looking false number from becoming inherited evidence.

Stow fits this ending: put the evidence where it survives, name what remains, and leave the next holder free to choose. Human asked to retire because context was high and weekly compute low. The office has enough ground to continue without another expedition from me.
